Grading FAQ

What you need to know

You order the desired grading service level via our shop and enter all cards via the input form.
Then you bring the cards to us in person at the store .
We collect the cards, bundle them into consolidated shipments and send them all together to PSA.
As soon as the cards arrive back with us after grading, we will inform you and you can pick them up in the store.

To ensure we can clearly identify and correctly process your submission, all cards must be registered online before being handed in at the store. You will find a digital card list on the product page for the respective PSA service level, where you enter each card individually. The number of cards entered must exactly match the quantity of items selected.

This online registration is mandatory, as it is the only way we can establish a clear link between your order, the submitted tickets, and the subsequent PSA tracking. The data is used exclusively for the submission process and will not be permanently stored after being handed over to PSA.

We cannot accept tickets without a fully completed digital ticket list.

Sports cards and TCG cards are possible.

For unusual or rare card types, please check with us beforehand whether PSA evaluates them.

Cards must be submitted neatly packaged in new sleeves and card savers. If we need to replace sleeves, a small processing fee will apply.

No. Cards cannot be sent to us by post and we do not return finished graded cards to customers.

Collection is only possible in person at the store.

You will receive a notification as soon as your submission is fully returned.
The tickets can then be picked up during our opening hours.

Please bring an official photo ID. We cannot release the tickets without verifying your identity. Collection by authorized persons is only possible with a written power of attorney and proof of identity from both the person granting the power of attorney and the person collecting the tickets.

We offer PSA Value Bulk, TCG Bulk, Regular, and Express valuations . The choice depends on the card type, market value, and desired valuation timeframe. The service levels differ in price and maximum permissible card value.

After evaluating each card, PSA checks whether the card's actual market value is higher than the service level selected by the customer. If the market value is significantly higher, PSA levies an upcharge. This means the card is retroactively assigned to a more expensive service level.

Examples:

  • If you submit a card in Value Bulk that PSA returns with a high grade and whose market value suddenly far exceeds the allowed limit, PSA will charge an additional fee.
  • Upcharges depend solely on PPE guidelines and market prices. We have no influence over them.

We cover these costs upfront and then bill you for them. As soon as an upcharge is incurred, you will receive a transparent breakdown of all additional costs.

The times we quote are based on PSA's experience and are estimates. They do not include transport to and from the USA. Delays due to logistics providers, customs, or seasonal demand are possible. We cannot guarantee delivery dates.

The delivery of the cards to us is at your own risk. Once we have confirmed receipt, responsibility lies with us in accordance with our terms and conditions. During international transport, only the insurance coverage of the logistics companies used applies. PSA itself is not liable for any reduction in value resulting from the valuation process.

Yes. Reasons could include: suspected forgery, significant damage, impermissible format, or internal PSA guidelines. If a card is not assessed, our service is still considered fulfilled, as the work of submission and processing is incurred regardless of the outcome. PSA may also charge fees in such cases.

Once we have cataloged the cards and assigned them to a shipping batch, changes are no longer possible . The preparation and registration process creates additional work and means that cancellations are not possible from this point onward.

Once your cards have been registered with PSA, you can view the progress via our tracking page .

We update the status daily using the PSA interface. Once the grading is complete, we will also inform you by email or phone.

Please refrain from repeatedly inquiring about the whereabouts of your cards; grading unfortunately takes time.

Please use new sleeves and card savers.

No toploaders, magnetic cases, or screw-on cases. If we need to replace unsuitable packaging, we will charge a small fee. Improper packaging may result in PSA not rating the card.
